IPA Executive Director Position

Required Qualifications- Master’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in association management, business administration, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, psychology-related administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational leadership, nonprofit administration, association management, or professional services management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Fiscal management and budget oversight experience.
- Proficiency with standard office technology, membership databases, and electronic communications systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with professional associations, nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, or psychology-related entities.
- Familiarity with Indiana governmental processes, healthcare regulation, or professional licensing systems.
- Experience supporting Boards of Directors and committees.
- Knowledge of continuing education administration and nonprofit compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with APA, state psychological associations, or mental health professional organizations.

Position Expectations
This position requires a high degree of professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, independent judgment, confidentiality, and commitment to the mission of the Indiana Psychological Association. The role requires consistent communication, strong follow-through, and the ability to coordinate complex organizational responsibilities in support of the profession of psychology within Indiana.
Occasional travel within Indiana and occasional out-of-state travel for professional meetings and conferences may be required. It is a work-from-home position.
